Seventh Man Seemingly Cured of HIV

A seventh person has been seemingly cured of HIV. The man was diagnosed with HIV in 2009 and later developed acute myeloid leukemia, requiring a stem cell transplant treatment. In 2018 the patient discontinued his antiviral treatment and since then has been in treatment-free HIV remission. For nearly six years his blood and other tissues have tested and been found free of the virus. Read more about it in the linked article.
